First, I would like to invite you to the hybrid SIG meeting during ICPE Berlin. The SIG meeting will be held on Monday 26 August at 12:00-13:30 CEST, in room VIII (8) on the first floor of the conference center. I will send you a meeting invite including a Teams link directly after this message. During the meeting, we predominantly aim to discuss plans for the coming year. If you have not received an invite, please let me know at l.t.bloem@uu.nl.

- ICPE Berlin hybrid SIG meeting: discussed time, location and agenda (see above)
- Change of SIG leadership: Kui and Quazi have stepped down after two years of excellent SIG leadership. Jamie and Lourens will succeed them. The spot for SIG secretary is open. Is anyone willing to take up this role?
- Update ISPE manuscript LTFU of gene therapy: the manuscript is now open for comments from ISPE members until Monday 26 August. The Public Policy Committee will share the comments with us, after which a revised manuscript may be recommended to the ISPE board for endorsement. We aim for publication in Drug Discovery Today, to reach a broad audience.
- Update ICPE symposium RWD-based external controls for CGTs: Monday 26 August at 15:30-17:00 CEST. After the symposium, there will be an interview with the Evidence Base physically on site.
- Update SIG Spotlight poster session at ICPE: Wednesday 28 August at 12:15-13:15 CEST. Jamie and I are now registered to chair and judge the session, but if anyone is willing to do this, please feel free and let us know!
- AOB: There is a call for new manuscript proposals with a deadline of 1 October. Please share any ideas you may have. I enclose the call text.
