Dear RWE Collaborative SIG members,
As discussed during our RWE Collaborative SIG All-Member meeting on 05/21/2026, we are pleased to announce the 2026-2027 leadership transition process and invite members to consider applying for open SIG leadership roles.
1. Call for nominations for the RWE Collaborative SIG Vice-Chair role
The RWE Collaborative SIG follows a 1-year leadership rotation to support continuity, role transition, and broader engagement among SIG members. In this structure, the Vice Chair transitions into the Chair role, and the Vice-Chair position becomes open for election each year.
We invite interested members to submit nominations for the 2026-2027 RWE Collaborative SIG Vice-Chair role. The SIG has a broad international membership, and we encourage applications from members across all regions and all sectors (i.e., industry, regulatory authority, academia, contract research organizations).
The deadline to submit nominations for the Vice-Chair role is June 12, 2026. Candidates will be invited to give a brief 5 to 10 minutes presentation during the July ad-hoc SIG meeting. Remote voting will be conducted through a Microsoft Form from August 1-15, 2026, and the results will be formally announced at the ISPE Annual Meeting.
2. Open appointed leadership positions for 2026-2027
In addition to the Vice-Chair election, several appointed leadership positions are open for the 2026-2027 term. These roles are important for advancing the SIG's communication, education, publication, and scientific programming activities.
The open appointed positions are:

The deadline to express interest or submit nominations for all current open appointed positions is also June 12, 2026.
Members who are interested in contributing more actively to the SIG are encouraged to consider these open roles. These appointed positions typically support SIG activities for 1-2 years and provide an excellent opportunity to help shape the SIG's strategic direction, programming, publications, and member engagement.
We sincerely thank all current leaders for their service and all SIG members for their continued engagement and contributions. We look forward to supporting a strong leadership transition and another productive year for the RWE Collaborative SIG.
Best regards,
RWE Collaborative SIG Leadership Team
