Lidija is a Ph.D. candidate in Epidemiology at the University of Toronto, Dalla Lana School of Public Health under the supervision of Dr. Geoffrey Liu. Previously, Lidija completed her MSc in Epidemiology at Queen's University and a BSc in Biology at the University of Ottawa. Lidija's Ph.D. research is focused on improving the way we analyze oncologic clinical trial toxicity data by comparing more traditional clustering methods such as latent class analysis to unsupervised learning for identifying population subgroups with similar toxicity profiles. Part of her research also includes understanding the role of germline genetic variation in the safety and efficacy of the EGFR-targeting monoclonal antibody drug cetuximab, used in the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer.
