Cheng "Alice" Chen, Ph.D., is an Epidemiologist Reviewer at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. She has over eight years of research experience in pharmacoepidemiology and has published 25 peer-reviewed papers. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, under the mentorship of Drs. Sean Hennessy and Charles Leonard, leading studies on drug-drug interactions. Alice earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacoepidemiology and a Graduate Certificate in Aging and Geriatric Practice from the University of Florida, focusing on the safety and effectiveness of opioid use among older adults. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Fudan University. Alice's expertise includes observational study design, study critique, manuscript writing, and statistical programming. She currently serves as the president of the Drug-Drug Interaction Special Interest Group at ISPE.
